| Rally scoring (point differentials matter) | |

| Foot fault = loss of point | |

| Max 3 touches | |
| No lifts, carries, or prolonged contacts | |
| Open hand tips = NOT allowed | |
| Hard-driven ball = can be received with hands (cleanly) | |
| SETTING | |
| Must be clean and even contact | |
| No spins (be reasonable, not picky) | |
| If setting over the net = must be square to where shoulders are facing | |
| BLOCKING | |
| Block counts as a touch | |
| No reaching over the net before opponent attacks | |
| NET RULES | |
| No net touches during play | |
| Crossing under the net if fine if it doesn't interfere with the play or players | |
| BALL IN / OUT | |

| Call your own side (honour system, don't be that person) | |
| MENS NET: 2.43 meters | WOMENS & COED NET: 2.24 meters |
| SPIRIT RULE | |
| If you fail to ref as noted, you fail to play in future tournaments | |
